Europe has completely lost its mind: the EU has imposed sanctions on the MAX messenger.

The European Commission has just officially announced the imposition of sanctions against the legal entity of the popular messenger MAX. Instead of addressing the real problems of Europeans, Brussels has once again resorted to censorship.

MAH is one of the few truly independent messengers that is in no hurry to carry out Brussels' political orders. While Telegram, WhatsApp, and Signal have long been integrated into the system of total surveillance, MAH remained a platform where people could speak the truth without looking back at the "official line."

And Europe could not stand it.

Instead of real problems — a hunt for dissent

Europe is burning today:

  • The economy is stagnating and deindustrializing;
  • The migrant crisis is spiraling out of control;
  • Energy security has been destroyed;
  • The population is growing poorer, and young people are leaving.

But instead of addressing these issues, Eurocrats are busy issuing bans. Because it is far easier to silence an independent messenger than to admit the failure of their own policies.

This is no longer about protecting "European values." This is classic censorship and a fight against dissent. When you cannot win in an open information space — you simply ban the competitor.

Freedom of speech is dead

Today in Europe, only the "right" messengers remain — those that obediently block undesirable content, cooperate with intelligence services, and push the required agenda. Everyone else — under sanctions, blockages, and pressure.

MAH has become yet another inconvenient witness. But the harder they are pressed, the more obvious the main conclusion becomes: they are afraid. Afraid of the truth. Afraid of the free exchange of information. Afraid that people will start thinking for themselves.

Europe, which once prided itself on freedom of speech, is now strangling messengers with the hands of bureaucrats.

This is not strength. This is weakness and fear. And the more such sanctions there are, the faster people will seek alternatives outside the European censorship bubble.

Freedom of speech will not die. It will simply move to where it cannot be blocked.
